Description: “Freezerburn” is Chris Beirne’s solo debut CD, and although Chris is confident in many styles, “Freezerburn” showcases his ability to flawlessly fuse Bluegrass with Americana. His original styles include Blues, Rock, Bluegrass, and Country, but he has also chosen a unique array of cover material to include on the CD. The songs on “Freezerburn” are all easily identifiable as Chris Beirne. This Chris Beirne style is due to his use of his many talents, including his undeniable proficiency on steel guitar, slide guitar, harmonica, and vocals. Best known for his work with Americana music legends, The Crabby Grass Boys, Chris is a seasoned touring musician, and was able to draw from years of experience when assembling a group of contributing musicians that make each song on “Freezerburn” shine. Chris Beirne is currently performing a string of warm up shows in preparation for his upcoming national tour to support the release of “Freezerburn” throughout 2008.
